What is this, it doesn't seem to be associated with the pmd on the column.

looks like something dried on the coin , could be about anything .

 

I scrubbed it with a tooth brush in oil, then in dish soap, then in acetone. Got cleaner but never changed. (all that was before the imaging) Seems to be part of the coin from minting.

Well it is not exactly MS-70.

It's weird, but I think it is something that got stuck on the coin after it left the mint.
