Hoping anyone can help me out here with this, as I have no idea what this is. 1964 US Copper Nickel? Pictures uploaded below. Any help would be great.

    Thanks,
    Craig

A nickel contains .250% nickel and .750% copper. When it tones as yours has it just leaves it a yellow or copperish color. Looking more closely at your photos it looks like your coin has suffered damage from something like an acid bath. It’s only worth five cents.
