I've always had a passing interest in coins. Just wanted to check on this one coin I cam across. 1964 Canadian quarter (silver) The pic I loaded came from google (and ebay subsequently) and is exactly what the coin looks like (although used and somewhat worn). any idea's?
In MS63, which is an extremely high grade, the coin is cataloged at $1.25 in the current edition of the Standard Catalog of World Coins (KM#52). In lower grades - which a "somewhat worn" coin certainly is - it's worth its .15 oz actual silver weight. That's $1.005 at today's closing price.
