    It looks like the date is for sure a DDO maybe the hole front looks DDO what do you guys think about this coin. This ant a bad coin.well I let you guys know what you do ever day and see what you see.

    On the other hand, maybe the whole obverse isn't a DDO.

    Looks like a couple of die chips on the date. Probably a really worn die. I don't see any doubling.

    The front is called the obverse.
    The back is called the reverse.
    A Hole is something you dig or cut.
    Whole is the entire thing.

    After deciding you meant the obverse of the entire coin is a DDO I can only conclude that it is not but to a new collector is may have that appearance. Almost the entire obverse has a tiny bit of red around the design and that can give a doubled appearance but it’s not. That’s just left over from when the coin was minted. It’s not in bad shape at all and the coin is 58 years old.

    It’s all normal and worth one cent.

    Die deterioration doubling from a very overused die that has physically spread outward. IMO, Jim
