I have the 2013 Cheery Picker Guide volume two, i just want another opinion can you confirm a ddr by photos.The photos are enlarged to show doubling just like page 103 in the guide.

 

I ment to say 2012 volume 2 fifth edition.Can someone tell me is it possible to have FS-801,802,803 AND 804 on the same coin.

 

I am by no means a dime expert but the only doubling I can possibly see is on the E in STATES (split bottom leg)

Nope, not possible, those are four different dies.
I don't think your coin is either of the four.

 

Do you think that it is mdd.

 

I'm straining my eyes to see something and I don't even see any machine doubling. Maybe if you pointed out a specific area to look at it might help me see something.

 

Look at the ER in America and go on ebay they have several 1963 ddr dimes there, you will find the letters have the same doubling.

 

I do not see any doubling either. I do see a halo like effect where you mentioned, but no actual doubling. The same effect seems to appear on some of the leaves on both sides. many of the coins on eBay that say DDO or DDR are not actually. A doubled die coin comes from a working die that was doubled imaged when made by the "hubbing" die, the secondary image is usually closer to the same strength than a mechanical doubling on the coin would be. So people look for a line on the devices, thickened devices, or split serifs on the numbers and letters. Proof coins are usually struck more than once in their production, so a doubling appearance ( MDD) could occur from that.

Hey guys have new photos with better light, i am seeing doubling on ONE DIME look at the left bottom edge of the N and I.

 

I don’t see any doubling on ONE DIME or any where else on this reverse. I have to concur with what others have said...no doubling on this reverse. One thing that Variety Collectors need to realize is there are a ton of varieties, “too minor”, out there in all denomination to deal with. I think you are beating a dead horse with this one. Here is an example of some doubling on a DDR that you should be looking for.

I cannot say woth all honesty that I see anything resembling the coins on page 103 of the CPG much less any doubling. Doubling on these coins should be easily discernable with minor explanation.
