I found this nice 1963-D Quarter 90% Silver in nice condition, can anyone grade it and what it's worth?

It's a nice looking piece. Difficult to grade accurately from those photos, but it looks as though it could be Mint State.

Here are the Numismedia trend prices.

Worst case scenario, if there is trace wear I can't see on your coin, figure AU58.

Otherwise, it looks at least MS63 to MS64 to my eyes.

Figure about $6 retail in that worst case (AU58) scenario, and $10-11 bucks retail in the latter scenario (MS63-64).

Also- when holding a coin, particularly a pristine, lustrous one like this, hold it by the edge, so you do not fingerprint its surfaces.

I would not be willing to pay much more than melt for it, which is currently $3.18. Perhaps $4, certainly no more than $5. The reason is that the late year silver quarter were saved in huge numbers and are readily available in uncirculated condition.

Likewise for me. Be aware that those Numismedia prices I quoted above are retail.

I have to admit, that is one beautiful coin.
I have one just like it! I think I bought my from a coin store for $4.
I wouldn't value it for much more than that.
But, it's a great coin to put in a case for display!! :)
