OK just finished up 5 more bags. I don't know if there is a such thing as a Trippled Doubled Die or not but it looks like it:thumb:. If not oh well but definitely a DDO ( I hope). I was super happy to catch this one. As always I appreciate any info. and comments.

This is a 1963D-1D0-001 EDS (early die state) Nice find.
I can't tell what that other mark is until a closer shot is provided.

Thanks rock but not sure if it is -001. This coin isn't in the best of shape but I don't see any of the MDS or LDS markers. The inner mark sure seems to be another inner point of a three IMO. I may just be hoping that it's a new one.

It is -001 . It is a little worn and that contributes to the wider "baggier" looking digits.

    Thanks,
    Bill

It appears to be a die scratch on the lower mark. You can see it intersect on the opposite side of the 3 in the date.

    A tripled or quad die is a TDR(or 0) or QDR,(or 0) but

A tripled or quad die is a TDR(or 0) or QDR,(or 0) but is referred to at a glance as a doubled die, then later in the more precise description as the tripled die or quad die reverse or obverse.
In other words a "doubled die" is the correct first phrase for any coin with die doubling of a class known the way I understand it.
