I found these coin in one penny roll, I've been showings some coins I thought were errors. No luck yet so i felt that if i group them I might get a good respond on one? The question is are any of these coins worth saving? I only put the Heads, but can provide the backs if need be. What say you?
What do you see that makes you think there is an error on any of them? The more coins you post for us to inspect and give opinions on in one post, the more kind of unfair it is to us.... You need to give some guidance, not just throw it out there and ask us to do the work.
Circulation wear, finger prints, scratches, possibly a broken post and maybe a die chip. There is an old saying, buy the book before the coin. It would be a good investment learning how many things can damage a coin after it leaves the mint. You will save time if you know what not to look for. https://www.pcgs.com/news/deciphering-mint-errors-versus-post-mint-damage https://adventuresincrh.blogspot.com/2019/01/different-types-of-damaged-coins-and.html
The 1979-D is damaged, the 1996-D is wretchedly fingerprinted, and the others are reasonably OK but still not worth more than face value.
@Real Slick I have looked at several of your posts. I have not replied to any of them because you appear to think every other coin is an error coin. The vast amount of error coins have been removed from circulation so you will not find many in change. I recommend you research the minting process and learn more about actual errors. Then if you think you have one post clear photographs of the obverse and reverse and a closeup of the area where you believe the error is. Also provide a written explanation of what you believe the error is. Here is a coin, I think its an error, what say you, indicates you want us to do the research for you. Our goal is to help you learn not just evaluate your coins and tell you if there is an error or not. Please help us help you.
