Yes, but it was very reasonable. I figure if I was to drive to the bank to try and get 2's it would cost me at least $4 in gas.
what was the total cost with shipping? the note has been circulated and has folds, bumps, etc. it's not worth much more than face.
If the shipping/handling was indeed $4.95, i`d say $1.04 for this bill is still a nice price, considering eBay similar lots. $4.95 sounds kind of a lot if its inside US though, i often pay less than this for shipping overseas when buying from US sellers.
That's how much it was but if he sends it priority as advertised he is making a very small profit on the S/H.
Total was 5.99 shipped, compared to other auctions in this condition it is a great deal. I have no red seals, I can't find them at work EVER so I decided this was the next best bet. I noticed that with the condition too, he advertised it UC which it doesn't appear to be, I am hoping for the best but if it's terrible he can have it back.
UC? was that supposed to be UNC? From the pic you posted its certainly not uncirculated and the folds I mentioned are pretty obvious. I also always advise to be careful buying a note in which the image does not show all the corners, as bumps and folds/creases on corners really drive down value. Let us know when you receive the note. post a scan if you can. :thumb:
