I believe these are all uncirculated. At least, that's my newbie hope. Typical samples from opened rolls (same 2 coins in both photos)... Nice & shiny like a new penny -- no toning, no colors. These are part of a collection I inherited from my Mother. If the rolls aren't worth much ($20?), maybe I'll open all the rolls and slab some of the nicest pennies. Not for sale -- I'd gift 'em to family & friends. Comments & suggestions?
Looks like they are uncirculated rolls and the samples are nice looking but not worth the price of slabbing. You're better off keeping them as rolls and yes, they are inexpensive.
Nice rolls. These dates coincide with the tail end of the "roll craze" when everyone and their brother when squirreling away BU rolls for an "investment" that didn't turn out very good. For this reason, we are blessed with a large supply of BU coins that have kept the roll prices down ever since. Wholesale bid prices for each roll are 90¢ and 65¢ respectively.
Save your $ The best way to give'em as gifts would be to put them in "airtite" capsules to protect and showcase the condition. The coins are very reasonable to buy in this condition but check all the rolls for different dates and cross your fingers for some "key dates" I wish you the best of luck in your quest!.....
Thanks for all the comments! For gifts, I think I'll take Yankee's advice and put 'em in airtite capsules: http://www.ebay.com/itm/271752545397?var=570583593043
