Recently started hunting so would love to hear some opinions. Looks very clean, has almost a blue hue. Steps are visible but not full steps, right? Struck through something or die crack by steps I think as well.
Also, what should I be doing with these finds? I’ve heard some say acetone bath.

It looks like zero steps to me. Why would you want to give it a bath?

That is my question - when/why should I give coins a bath? I’ve read some say to do it on coins before sealing or grading. Others say never clean at all.

I been collecting fifty years and I have yet to clean a coin and I have handled thousands. It is far too easy to ruin any inherent value with one misguided step..... There are cases where a coin is developing verdigris or maybe has been stored in vinyl that has left a contaminant on the surface of the coin..... Just understand one thing. The scrutiny of most any seasoned collector can spot a cleaned coin. Even one done well..... I would suggest you wait a while before doing any cleaning at all. At best maybe blow off with compressed air. Once you are a bit more seasoned you will be able to recognize a coin that could benefit from a little help.

    What Randy said!

And, I'd like to add that using "canned air" to remove particles of dust is okay as long as you aim the can from a low angle to the surface of the coin. If you spray directly onto the surface, the dust particles might scratch the coin from the force of the air.
