1962 D error

    Shown here is what i hope to be a 1962 D error penny. I don't know if it is visible in the picture, but the L in LIBERTY is touching the rim and is higher than the I. The whole word is kind of wavy, too. These features are clearly visible in person. Please help me determine whether this is an error or not and if so what it is worth!

    P.S. I am new to CoinTalk :D

    ok i got a much better view of this with my scanner so here it is

    wavy liberty 1962 closeup.jpg

    almost appears to be hand-punched into the coin. is this possible?

    I cant remember exactly what it is called but I do believe it's PMD, not an error.
