Greetings, when some of the surface on the obverse and reverse and gets stamped back on to the coin is it called a clashed die? I could almost make out some of the Lincoln Memorial to the right side of his face.
Please show a picture of the Reverse just as you have shown the Obverse. Not just a picture of your screen. Looks like Planchet Lamination issues. Nothing to do with a Clash Die.
Lamination was also my first thought. A die clash is caused when the dies come together without a planchet in place, and they transfer their design onto each others surface. Then this shows up on the next planchets that are minted. A lamination (or delamination, depending on what definition you want) is a planchet error from improperly mixed alloy metals, and how the metal is treated before becoming a coin blank.
