1961-D Lmc Rpm ? D over D?

    As I get my home coin ready to move I been opening a few date that I forgot I had here.

    Jello I don't think it's an RPM I think it's machine doubling the give away here is the doubling on liberty which appears to be MD and that is typical for it to be MD on the MM so I would think it's not a RPM sorry that;s only my opinion lets see what some others have to say.

    Here the area that has a D above the mint mark. liberty is mach doubling but the mint mark is repunched

    I think what your seeing is a scratch above the mint mark look real close, sometimes the eye could play tricks with you, because you want it to be a RPM . I don't want to be tecnical, but I think that;s what it is just trying to give an accurate conclusion.

    I see some scratches and minor Die Gouges but no RPM!

    jello, you are creating things that don't exist.

    There is no RPM on this coin, just a few scratches above the Mintmark.
