Okay, look at the center on the face of the memorial just above the two columns. I am fairly sure this is only a gouge in the metal but have some interesting thoughts about its origin. I also thought it might be a die clash but those usually don't leave impressions this deep. Or, could this be Lincoln's ghost hanging around trying to figure out how Lincoln got so big and turned into stone? Maybe it is an image of an alien that fell from a ship and slammed against the building making a big impression when all it wanted was to make a good impression so people would not be frightened. Besides the observations I have made can you think of any other way this could have happened. Maybe it is an error of some sort. jeankay
Probably a strike through, but it's tough to tell for me really. Can't believe I'm asking this, lol, but could you zoom out a bit to show more of the coin? Very nice pics! :thumb: Phoenix
Zoom zoom zoom Or, I tried to zoom it out. I just thought of something... after looking at it some more, I think it might be Santa Claus... notice how wide it is compared to the height? And if you look closely you can see a bag over his shoulder. SO THAT'S WHY HE DIDN'T LEAVE ME ANY GIFTS THAT NIGHT.
Now you have to ask the same question about the rest of us: We must really have a lot of time on our hands too be talking about some weird thing that is on a cent. Phoenix
