1.jpg 2.jpg 3.jpg 4.jpg 5.jpg 6.jpg 7.jpg 8.jpg 9.jpg 10.jpg So I was roll hunting with my usb microscope, and I came across this 1960 Nickel with doubling on almost every feature. ( I need to put the software for the usb micro on this comp, and I should be able to post pics.) The Cameo, Liberty,, In God We Trust, the date, Monticello, and the words below the building. I know its hard without pics, but im just really excited and want to hear any thoughts.

The only thought I have is that you need to post pics.

I'm seeing what looks to me like die deterioration doubling and/or strike doubling.

is it worth sending to NGC or another grading company? I have yet to have a coin graded so I don't know what to do until I check the website. they are fully trustworthy right? at least the "big two"?

I personally think you got something there. And yes the big two grading companies are trust worthy.

Yes, PCGS and NGC are very trustworthy. I don't think you have anything worth grading. Wait for some of the others to check in before tossing it, though.

It's a mix of die deterioration and mechanical doubling. It is not a doubled die. I wouldn't send it to a TPG.

I had the same question about a coin or two. Thanks for the question/pictures and replies.
