Firsts of all.....sorry for the pics... Ill try to get better ones. Secondly, I swear this is a small date. Checked and checked the die markers and they seem to coincide. Is there something Iam missing here?? Thanks for the help.

My bad I think I read your post wrong.. lol I was thinking that you were thinking of the 1960 d large date over small date. I'm sorry. But let others chime in..

I think it's small date over large date. If it was large date over small date,
you wouldn't be able to see the date underneath.
As for the OP coin, it looks like the small date. The tails on the 9 and 6 are short and stubby.
The 1960-D small date really has no value. It's the 1960 small date Philly that is the valuable coin.
This coin belongs to a member here (Furry Frog) this is the one you want.

Here's the 1960-D small date over large, courtesy of the Lincoln Cent Resource.
    Compare your date to it.

This the one I am talking about....coustesy of www.coppercoins.com.

Large Date: Tripled Die shows 3 tails on the 9 of the date with a possible 4th 9 on the top left of the digit. A light spread east on LIBERTY and a light division line is noticeable on the 0 of the date. This variety is considered scarce... as not many specimens have been reported.
