OK, I have been to Coneca, tried coppercoins and the broken links. Anyone know if this has been attributed?
Looks like RPM-21 to me. Maybe it is -34 or a new one. The photo has a little glare that makes it hard to see at the top of the D. Check out 21 on Coppercoins and see if it is close. Jim
Thanks Jim.. Thats the one. I missed it when I went through. I found 3 of these in one BU roll. I didnt think they were rare based on that, but I couldn't get an attib on them either. 1960D-1MM-021 D/D NORTHEAST CONECA: RPM-021 | Crawford: unknown Wexler: WRPM-005 | FS#: unlisted Large date. A very heavy and very well define bottom left two thirds of a secondary mintmark spread to the northeast shows above and inside the primary mintmark on this variety.
:smile Yes, I have looked at Potters page, I just couldnt find this one. I think that I was just looking TO hard..
Your coin looks a bit like the coin in the Cherrypickers Guide on p. 130 on the "d/d" and cannot see the numbers on yours. Good find.-O) Coneca, tried coppercoins and the broken links, I'm not know of.
I am also. After about the first 100 coins, I realize I have been daydreaming and who knows what I have missed. But once I see one, the identification is the fun part. I forget the old movie, where before computers and back trace directories, a bartender was trying to find who a phone number he found on his girl belonged to. He was going through the phone directory one page at a time, not realizing the guy next to him was the person , and every time the bartender's attention went to a customer, the guy flipped the directory back a few pages. That's how I feel going through groups of lincolns. I swear I saw this one before Who is throwing them back in? Jim
I hope many of us feel like we've seen the same coins before. As Yogi would say " It's deja vu all over again. ". It happens to me a lot. There is a previous post of this so she/he marked a few coins. They did come back again.
This may help. http://www.coppercoins.com/diesearch.php plus ten more pages http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/diestate.php?date=1960&die_id=1960d1mm005&die_state=mds
