Hi everyone Im new found a 1960 D Looks like it has beenrepunched can anyone shed some light as to what I have found
Nice, were you looking through rolls for errors or just happened to find it in pocket change. Sorry I can't tell you anything concerning value; I pretty much just collect, collect and collect everything.
Oh i see sorry. Welcome to cointalk! (Rpm) repunched mint mark. A very well known rpm. Value $10 to $20. Just depends on what the buyer is willing to pay.
Perfict Thank you. I have been looking through rolls I have a bunch of Pennys I have found Just not sure what Im looking at yet. Have 1963 I beleave is doubled found a 1927 wheat yesterday also some realy clean pennys 44 througe present. Chris
Very nice find. Here is a site with some good info. http://www.lincolncentresource.com/RPMS/1960rpm1.html.
Hi, Chris! Yes, you must always bear in mind that a coin, any coin, is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it, and condition is a big factor. Honestly, $10-$20 for that RPM seems a bit high to me, but who knows! Maybe some bidiot would think it is a steal. Chris (too)
Thanks Chris Im not planing on selling any of the pennys I find. I am going to give them to my daughter... Im enjoying the treasure hunt... Unless I find the big money coin, what ever that may be. any ideas of what I should be looking for?
No offense intended, but I hate pennies! They give me headaches. It took me 4-1/2 years to search one $50 Mint bag of 1980 cents. I spent much of my collecting endeavors on Morgans and Classic commems but I've sold those collections. Where moderns were concerned, I was very successful searching Mint bags and rolls of SQ's, Kennedy halves and Sac dollars for high grades to submit for grading so that I could flip them. Chris
Thanks its like the other 50 coins I have and don't know what I have yet.. I wasn't sure about this one at first. I will figure them out in time Chris
