If you mean the coin, I can't tell from that photo. If you're referring to the fingernail, I think you just need a manicure. Chris
thats not my opinion, that is fact. so I should be good haha. It's when my opinion finds its way out of my brain, is when the world will end..... did he just say opinion...? OFF with his head
Haha... no free thought for you! And hey, I agree, but remember where you are.... the obvious escapes many, many people here, unfortunately. @paddyman98 can tell you all about the ridiculous crap he's gotten for daring to try to help those unfamiliar with the correct terminology. Crazy, crazy stuff imo...
I've seen it haha I saw that Some guy go off on @MontCollector for telling him not to look in the AM for the transitional FG 1988 1c...he told montcollector that he is a perfectionist and montcollector should get his facts straight lol he so perfect that he can't make his own decisions haha asks questions, but says he knows what he talking bout lol but I told the guy the same thing and I guess he wanted to listen to me rather than mont lol
Some people don't like being told they don't have what they thought they did....even when you post links to support the facts you are giving them. I don't think the guy who went off on me even looked at the links I posted in my replies to him. Oh well stuff happens
Tyler, you've got to stop using "lol" in place of punctuation. You're going to confuse some people. Chris
Anyway.... There's a lot I could say here but I won't, I will just sit back and lament over laminating. You guys do know a lot,but you don't know everything. I took the coin in question to my local coin dealer who helps me in something and he says that it is in fact a doubled die 1965 dime laminating over laminating
First, kudos for searching out other opinions, and regardless of the result. Now, I do hope you realize that "dealer" is in NO way synonymous with "expert", nor does the title even suggest one is knowledgeable about varieties. I obviously do not know who this dealer is, and certainly am not trying to pigeonhole him in any way or fashion, but this is something you really need to keep in mind. That said, I simply cannot see your coin well enough to say if it displays anything, or any doubling, beyond die deterioration. If you'd like, or are able, to post more photos, please do. Also, could you please explain exactly what you, or this "dealer" means by "laminating over laminating"?
It was a joke. Chris was worried that someone might mistake lol for a coin acronym. It doesnt means Lamination over lamination . But it really just means laughing out loud. Re read this whole thread again and see how funny it is bwahaha
I realize yours was.... believe it or not, I didn't just fall off the truck. That said, please do remember where we are.... you're newer, I understand, but have been here long enough to know that nothing said on this forum should be taken for granted.
