My sister in-law gave me a huge jar full of mostly pennies. I've been searching through them every chance I get. Look at these 2 in particular : 1959D Penny (Look at "Liberty", the L seems to be pretty far to the right) also, it retained a great luster and shine to it after being in a jar for so long !! 1980 Penny (Does it look Double Struck to you?) Let me know what you think. Thanks, Laura
The 1959 had a misaligned obv die. It was too far towards LIBERTY so the L is right on the edge of the coin. The 1980 is not double struck, it shows a collar clash on the rim. It also appers to have a slight misaligned die.
