Welllll... I have to admit that me and that microscope thingy aren't getting along very good right now. It refuses to listen to me... So, it is back to the camera for most of the pictures. There is something very interesting on the reverse of these twin coins... I will try to post pics real soon. jean
The backside of the 1959D's I gotta tell you, that until I magnified these two coins in my Paint Shop program I did not see the machine/mechanical doubling on most of the reverse lettering. jeankay

I actually found a 1940 Lincoln that was shellacked. It was shinny and it also had a paint brush hair stuck in it. Ha! I didn't know people really did that.
