1959 LMC folded rim? mint error?

    Looks like a Cent the was previously encased in a Lucky Cent holder or bezel. Damaged.

    That is one extremely deformed cent. I can't imagine how that could have been caused by the Mint.

    It looks like it may still have a bezel of some type still on the coin.

    With a little work, you can probably pry the coin out the reverse, if you were so inclined. I would leave it as is. It's a novelty piece.

    On the bottom reverse, I can see where it was attached to something and broke off; I will leave it, as suggested, intact as a novel find.
