Could this possibly be a black beauty? It's really dark so I was just wondering if it could be. Thanks for your opinions.
Here is a couple pictures of the rim. Sorry for the delay but was tied up with other things until now. The rim is the same color as the obverse and reverse.
If the edge is all dark like that it's most likely environmental damage. The black beauties (improperly annealed) have clean rims/edges. Although the 2nd pic is cleaner than the 1st. So IDK.
