1959 D Roosevelt Dime Reverse die damage

    While looking through some stashed coins I dug this out. I can't tell if it's embedded hairs or debris or a severely cracked reverse die. Any help is appreciated. Thanks 20180131_195704_HDR.jpg

    It looks like scratches to me. I can see coin metal pushed up along some of the edges.

    It's a severely scratched coin.

    Cut or scratched coin just as Chris describe above pmd.

    A Die Crack would show raised on the surface of the Dime. The crack is on the Die itself so when it strikes the Blank Planchet the metal flows into the crack.. not cause an incused mark or marks
