What could have caused this to edge if it is PMD?
I've been on internet looking but can't find anything that looks like this on the edge.
    Thanks for the help

Caught in moving mechanical equipment. Maybe washer or dryer. Not a mint error. Damaged

I don't know what caused it to look that way..
But it is DEFDAM - Definitely Damaged :yack:

I can think of one way. Someone took a metal pipe that has the same circumference of the cent. Placed it on the Cent and struck it very hard caused the damage. But only the person that created it would know how it really occurred.

Thanks everyone, at first I figured PMD but the edge confused the heck out of me so wanted to make sure.
