    If you are talking about around the cent, it is damage. I see nothing out of the ordinary. Where were you looking? Jim

    The indentation to the right of the memorial. Looks like it was there before striking.

    IMO it looks like a counterstamp of some kind. In your 4th photo, and another view, it looks like the line runs over the letters ICA of ANERICA. I'm not a error coin expert. Wait for the expert's opinions.

    Naw. That ripple effect is pretty common with de-lams.
