Looks like it could be a RPM but it's too worn to say which one. See if you can compare it to one on this site: http://www.varietyvista.com/05 JN RPMs/RPMs 1958D.htm
I believe you are right it's eather the 004 or I think it's a 006 could be one of them I another old coin is a Denver that has real strong doubling RPM it looks really nice the upper right side is pulled over at the top showing a nother D it is pretty easy to see I didn't post all of my finds I had to walk away from it I been going all day and evening looking at these coins but I have 7 or 8 more old jefferson I don't know if I even showed the first Jefferson nickel 1938 it is not to bad but could have been better some 52 a 49 p a 43p there were two of them one with a nice tone send a picture of it but this one is just a very nice silver look war nickel 1947 p I didn't put it in thereI I have a 53 p don't if I took a picture of it or not a 68s nickel a 1970 s a 49 p that has a very dark color to it like chocolate a 1960 d 52 p And a 52 d a 46 p a 42 p a 47 p I may have took a couple of them all ready been a long day can't remember got a 54 p a 54 d and two 49 p I am still looking for the 1950 I think that is the big one I found a bunch of old ones like this before a long time ago probably been a year ago found a bunch of old nickles I would have to pull them out been a long time since I seen them they may be a 1950 in it I think they are so it's been a long time since I hit like I did today only happens once in a blue moon have a good one and thanks for the info it helped for sure a repunched mint mark i figured it was like I said I have a really nice one some were here in one of them d I called off I will post it tomorrow good night.
