The pic looks squished because I had to rotate the original pic to an upright position. This is one of several 58p Lincolns in my collection which have die-cracks like this in varying degrees.

The clembo definition for that coin is:

    "The Crack Head error" :D

    Phoenix

The beginning of the crack is just above the ear and curls to the right, goes across the hair to the forehead and splits into two die cracks, one going down to the right eye, and the other going across the forehead and curls down to the top of the nose. At the beginning of the crack (above the ear) the crack goes upward and ends up in the hair just about where the word 'God' is. There are other little cracks on the hair that are very difficult to see in the picture.
It was quite a challenge to get this much in the picture as the coin is very shiny and reflects back a bit too much for a clearer picture.
I have so many coins with die cracks that it would take a couple of days to post them.
    Thanks for checking it out.

Yep Phoenix, Clembo would really 'know' about cracked heads...lol.
This crack is much like 'celebrated' cracked skull' die crack error.

I like it. I have a few "cracked skulls" myself. Cool coin... John
