1958 D Wheat Cent Error?

is it a die chip or post mint damage?
It looks like extra metal for sure?

I know very little about errors but it looks pretty Jagged it doesn't seem as if the metal flowed around the chip. It almost looks like the copper broke away from the metal after minting. Ice

I don't think it;s a die chip it looks indented to me not raised i think it;s just damage

Common for a die chip in that area. No extra value for them. Just something else to show new collectors.

Yes, a die chip and very common on the T during that time.

It is one of those annomoly photos. One time the area in question looks raised - look at the picture later and the area in question appears incused.
