I just received several rolls of bu Lincolns which I was all set to search... that is, until I opened this tubed roll and found the coin I am posting.
It sort of stopped me in my tracks.
    Enjoy!

Several months back I got a bucket of wheat cents somebody cashed in at the bank. A couple dozen were still bright red! Five or six of the coins looked just like your coin does. They have an attractive purple red toning on the reverse. Must be a natural way to tone sitting in a jar for 50+ years.
