It appears to be a lamination at "WE" and a die chip at the "B".

Tommy, do you see what appears to be notching and doubling on the TY?

    Maybe the D W and T?

Not enough quality there for me to see lamination with certainty.

Could just as easily be a stain or debris.

I'd like to look at that penny closely since the likelihood that only one DDO exists for that coin seems kinda slim. More pix of it would be nice.

It looks to be a bit of peeling directly above the hair line but could also have been a hit there also. I see what you are seeing that looks like possible notching on the TY but as you said the quality is not sufficient. The photo would have to be narrowed down considerably. And you are correct, as I also doubt there could only be one out there. I think the DWT are hits actually. @Nolan Workman, is it possible you could crop and enlarge the word Liberty with best possible lighting?

These indicate the faint lines that are MAYBES on the DWT. The quality and definition just ain't happening to squeeze what may be there, out of this picture either way. Compare to similar known to exist.

I think it actually may be a discovery 1958D DDO-002. Comparing to DDO-001's and 'normal' 1958D's on hand, it appears likely. Not 100%, but, pretty sure.
