Hello, any thoughts on this one? A common keeper? Thanks! CAM00296.jpg CAM00297.jpg

Well, not a Gem note but a Star nonetheless. For $1 I'd keep it as a "type" note for the collection; at least until a better condition one is found.

Ivy Baker Priest was the mother of Pat Priest, an actress best known for playing Marilyn Munster in the 1960s television show The Munsters.

There are four different 1957 Series silver certificate stars *A,*B,*C,*D. The BEP had just changed from the flat press 18 specimen sheets to the 32 specimen sheets rotary presses and new presses still had some quirks to work out so a lot of stars were inserted to replace the not up to standards sheets. Collectors item yes, a expect to get rich note no. Enjoy your find - Rick
