I bought this while traveling this week. At Golden Isles in Raleigh NC. Looked like a nice pickup. Its graded by GEC as PR69. I know they are not one of the major coin grading services. The thing is, it's encased and there is this item on the obverse next to face. I don't think it is causing any damage to the coin, but I worry about long term effects. Should I bust it out and put it in a 2x2? I only paid $10 for it.

The one thing I can guarantee is that with GEC it is not a 69

I hear you guys. Figured it was a basement slab. Will put in a 2x2 just for kicks.
