1957 Half Dime

    Again, your opinions please :) This is exactly the way I received the coin - it is in one of those cardboard holders with the clear plastic to view the front and back. And No, I did not clean the coin, I've never even touched it with my bare hands. Cardboard sleeve only.. Thanks!!

    From the picture it looks like a VG grade - redbook is $22.00, a dealer would pay you much less. (check greysheet) 1857 is a relatively large mintage - over 7 million. ($16.00 in a recent coin prices magazine for VG)

    According to the Blue Book:

    VG = At least three of the letters in LIBERTY are visable
    F = All of the letters in Liberty are visable with some weak spots
