1957 D Wheat Penny Mint Mark located on the Reverse

    received_373202383470176.jpeg I found 1957 D Wheat Cent with what appears to be the mint mark D on the Reverse I couldn't find anything in my research on this.     This is the third Cent I have seen these past couple of days with someone claiming that there is a misplaced D Mint Mark on the Cent... Really weird

    But the answer is no.. It is some sort of odd damage that looks like a D. Mint Marks were hand punched into the Obverse Die under the date for these Cents... No way it could be on the Reverse in that location unless the MM person was very drunk when they were doing the procedure :hungover:
