We have seen a few of these from other members lately.
It is a common. Especially the years 1957 and 1959. Just small Die Chips in the numeral.. nothing major.
Here are 2 that I found and kept from 30 years ago with original label I used back then. I did not know the term Die Chip back then.

Just be sure that the people you tell about your coins can be trusted. More younger people have their coin collections stolen because the word gets spread around that you have money stashed in the house. Eventually, the message reaches the wrong person.

You are correct. In the 1972 “BIE Handbook” Edited by Howard O Hardy, there are 568 listings for LIBERTY Die Breaks on the 1957-D.

In the 1969 edition of “THE CLASSIFICATION AND VALUE OF ERRORS ON THE LINCOLN CENT” by Jean Cohen. You most likely will find your coins listed in the section "CLOGGED NUMBERS". This section lists ~ 200 1957-D Die chips on the date which she called Clogged Numbers back then.

Both books are a must have for any collector of Lincoln Cent Errors and Varieties. But both are very hard to find.

If you are an ANA member you can check out both of these books from their library.
