1957-D Silver Penny

    :eek: I just found this penny in very good condition. Seems to be double struck and coated with silver. Anyone seen one of these?

    Yes...many dates are plated with silver and other metals (these are NOT made at the mint)...they are not worth over the value of the coin...maybe a non collector would pay a bit more but I wouldn't ;--)
