Looks like a die chip. Wait for more opinions...
minor die chip on the 9 of the date possibly b of Liberty. Both are a minor error.
Minor mint error. Here is an example from my collection.
Not much in the way of added value, but fun to show and tell.
Die chip in the 9. Very common but nice to find.
