1957-D filled 9 & 5

    I suppose there are not so rare... 9 looks a bit doubled? thin hyphen between the 5 & 7. Filling is die chips? That stuffing in the 5 seems line up with stuff in the 9. The torso seems a bit edgy on the date side & face & back? I'll have to clean out that D and see if there is anything in there.

    These cents are struck as rapidly almost as machine gun fire. Those are just chips in the old die due to all that stress. They're cool.

    The best you can hope for is a 57 D RPM....and those don't carry much of a premium.
