1956d rpm?

    The top serif appears to evidence a split. Does the bottom evidence a hint of a split or am I imagining things?

    I think there is too much die wear/damage to really tell if it is an RPM or not. My gut feeling would be no.

    I come across many (well, not many, but quite a few - relatively speaking) like this that seem like they might be varieties. I keep telling myself to stick to the very very obvious. I think I will do that from now on. Thanks Simon, for taking a look and giving your highly respected opinion.
