My husband and I are finally going through our parents' wheat pennies. We don't know much except what we are learning from the internet as we go along. Any thoughts on this? A mistake? Damage? Thank you in advance. CC
It was damaged in circulation. This is very common for pennies because it doesn't take much to move the metal around. Chris
