1956 wheat penny multiple errors

    I found a 1956 D wheat penny with multiple errors on the front you can see part of the reverse stamped on Lincoln's head and on the beginning of in God we trust, also on the back there is 4 large lines stamped into it I can not find any reference to this coin can anyone help me with this? 15413643321705013798340573937922.jpg

    Yup, another coin has just been pressed into it. Probably vice marks on the reverse.

    Anytime you see incused and backwards lettering it is an altered Cent.
    Not a Mint Error and only worth 1 Cent
