 I found a 1956 penny with the 9 filled in and actually raised a little. Has anybody encountered this? Is this pretty normal to find?

i've checked thousands of wheats, and late 50's cents have a lot of filled letters and numbers. It is fairly common and doesn't add much to the value. Still, I keep them all.

Rolling change? Wow. I've never found one checking probably a million cents.

I agree - it may not be a major find, but it is cool finding little things like this. Makes collecting interesting and fun.
