1956 lincoln tow errors on obverse one on reverse

    1956 front.jpg 1956 back.jpg one is a die chip between the band e in liberty the one at bottom of shoulder is got me stumped any opinions ? sorry about mispelling two

    Die chip was in Liberty. Was collectable back in the 60's and was advertised as the BIE cent. The should looks like a lamination.

    Nice combination.

    You have a 'BIE' Lincoln (fairly common for that era). It appears to be a lamination at the truncation of Lincoln's bust. The 'BIE' adds little to no added value but the lamination would be of interest to error collectors.

    Thanks for the info on this i thought it was a lamination but i didn't know for sure when there are so many errors and stages it hard somtimes to pin it down right again much thanks for your info as always cointalk is the best for info on coins
