I have a 1956 D wheat that I’ve been holding on to for some time and I have no idea if this is is a error coin or damaged I’m no coin expert but would like someone’s opinion on this, thanks cointalk.
Mechanical doubling. Rim was damaged. It was probably encased once in a Lucky Cent holder then removed.
Me too on the above answers. I love old wheat backs and would definitely keep that one, but not an error, in my opinion.
