There seems to be a set of parallel lines running near the rim of the obverse starting right above IN and running under the word GOD and appearing again faintly between WE TRUST. I'm not quite sure what they are. Any ideas? (and yes, I can see that someone put their nice paw print on it. Was probably me when I was a kid :( ). I've checked over coppercoins.com and have tried googling to find something like this, but haven't had any luck. There isn't any doubling anywhere that I can spot under 10x on either side. No weird lines on the reverse either. I thought at first they were raised, but I can't tell. If they're indentations, I have no idea how they'd avoid affecting the lettering.

I can't tell if the mark above "OD" is raised or not. It looks like there may be a small recess across the top of the "D" which could be a continuation of the mark. If that is so, then my vote would be that it is a scratch on the coin, but I would have to look at all of the marks under the higher magnification of a microscope.

Sort of looks like feeder finger damage to me.
