    I cam across this in a bank roll today. I know the extreme 1955DD are worth alot, but what about this? 1955dd.jpg

    Most people refer to this as the poor man's double die and they are pretty common. Hate to say it but not much value.

    That is what they call the "poor man's doubled die" IT is due to die deterioration and is not really worth anything extra.

    Not to mention the horrid scratch job at the upper left quarter portion of the obverse would seal the deal. Worth 1cent.

    Richard, can you believe I typed that with two fingers.LOL
    Sad part is that is about all I can use to type. Patton, keep looking because you never know what you'll find!
