I found a 1955 Wheat penny with an interesting error. The "Liberty", last 2 letters"T" and "Y" look like half "U" and "U". Is anybody able to tell me more about this error? Also "TRUST", the"T"s looks more like a "Y". Thank you. And if has any value...
Ok. Thank you. Just confused about the last letter...How can damage, transform a Y in U...I'm new in coin collecting and I can't make difference between "error" and "fake error" or intentional damage. Thanks again.
Welcome To Cointalk Not suggesting you do this but copper is very easily moved you can take a flat head screwdriver very gently you can move the metal around.JMO Dave
