hello i got this lincoln cent today as change its 1955 and it is sorta clean but the copper finish looks bubbly like somthing is under the finish?on front side and a little on the back?it looks like paint would after using that stripper stuff its very very strange and the detail on the cent is very good/what could cause this/
also if you look hard at the reverse bottom left you can see trust bairly stamped at the bottom on the reverse?how did that get there?
Jesse- Looks like it has been dipped in acid or something corrosive. As for the "trust", I can't tell from the image, but my guess would be that someone hammered a couple of pennies together. If it were a clash, it should be on the lower right side.
im sorry it is on the lower right side lol trust is there for sure you can see it in the pic but the letters look a little bigger than normal
